Some owners are relaxed about what goes out under their name. Plenty are not, and they are right not to be: in a regulated category, a family business or a brand with one careless post between it and a bad week, the last word has to stay with the person carrying the risk. That is a setting here, not an argument.
Why is approval usually so painful?
Because it is normally a chase. The agency sends three posts on Monday, the owner reads them on Thursday, the window closes, and the month goes out late or goes out unapproved.
The other failure is volume. Approving forty posts one at a time, in a message thread, is a part time job that the owner never agreed to do. Approval only works when the whole month arrives at once, in one place, in the order it will publish.
How does the queue actually work?
You get the month as a single queue with the caption, the asset and the publish date on every item, and three buttons: approve, change, reject.
One sitting clears it. Anything you change comes back once, corrected, rather than starting a thread. Anything not approved simply does not publish, and the calendar closes the gap from material you already cleared. Does approval slow the page down?
Only if the queue is late, which is our job to prevent, so the month is prepared far enough ahead that your review is never the thing holding a post.
Time sensitive items, replies and reactive posts run on a standing rule you set once instead of item by item, so nothing urgent waits for a signature.
